Harvested in May of 2018, Emerald Spring comes from Hubei, China the birthplace of the steaming process most commonly used to produce Japanese green tea. It is steamed and pan-fired and highlights flavors from both processes. The flavor is sweet and vibrant, with a buttery, nuttiness. In a 400ml teapot steep 6-7 grams of tea in 175°F water for 3-5 minutes. The lower water temperature will decrease the astringency and bitterness, accentuating the sweetness of the tea.
