1.75 oz Day Lily Traditional Roast Box


A medium-roast, medium-oxidized oolong from the famous Dong Ding growing area of Nantou, Taiwan. Named for the jin xuan (day lily) cultivar, it was roasted several times over the course of several months to develop a sweet, fruity flavor, with a hint of nuttiness. 

Using a small gaiwan, rinse 7 grams of leaf with water slightly cooler than boiling, about 200° F.  Steep the first infusion for 1 minute, the second for 45 seconds, increasing time for each additional infusion by 30-45 seconds.
