Organic Masala Chai Loose Leaf
A combination of rich and malty black tea with warming spices including cinnamon, ginger, clove, cardamom and black pepper. Traditionally served with milk and sweetener, our blend is equally delicious on its own.
To prepare as a tea: Steep 5-6 grams in 400 ml of water off the boil for 4-5 minutes.
To prepare as a sweetened milk tea: In a saucepan, heat half the volume of water for the drink size that you wish to produce. Once the water is boiling add 5 grams of tea per 8 oz of water, and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Stir 8 oz of milk (or milk substitute) per the 8 oz of water and heat until warm. Strain and sweeten to taste with the sweetener of your choice.
